My computer hates me. Or is it the other way around? I was all ready to write a nice long post about recent events (short version: No working septic system for the last 7 weeks), but my computer instead decided to lock up in a rather major way. After about 30 minutes of struggling with it, I finally have it working again.
Alas, I know longer have any energy left for writing about recent events (did I mention our septic system hasn't worked for the last 7 weeks?), so I'm going to leave it for next time.
Good night! (Seriously, it died about October 15 or so.)
I said "good night!" (Oh, yeah. Good night!)
You stated in your earlier blog that you got a Dell, right? I hope you didn't get one of those mentioned in slashdot: http://hardware.slashdot.org/story/09/11/30/1818207/Dell-Defect-Turning-22GHz-CPU-Into-100MHz-CPU

Nope, it's not one of those. Alas, it's infected with Vista, but other than that it's fine. I think the problem the other night was dueling video editing programs trying to access my camcorder at the same time. I would click something and would get a response 5 minutes later. That made shutting down to reboot an exercise in extreme patience, to say the least!
